originally, i assumed that once the clock struck 12, due to the red numerals, beatrice would appear. clearly, i was wrong. i cant pretend to be super empathetic to rosas whole plight for being a good mother, however im very interested in the continuing theme of how the family choses to exploit the women in power. so far... sorry if this is a funny comparison, but umineko reminds me of the play 'An Inspector Calls.' its compulsary to learn in year 11 (10th grade), and it was probably my favourite literature work to study, i got an equivalent of an A in it. Its basically about this upper class british family and their exploit of Eva Smith, who serves as a Jane Doe of the oppressed in society ( while the inspector does have a line saying there are 100s of eva smiths AND john smiths, i think misogny is a very impactful part of the play due to how the sons treat her, as well as the female casts alienation and lack of solidarity with her also being a theme.)
