okay! i need to update this alotttt more, im on chapter 3 episode 9 - to summarize!

considering where we left off, for a while i thought this was from rosas perspective, but nope, beatrice! we are also introduced to og beatrice, beatwice. beatone? this isnt clever in the slightest. also, while im typing, i know her actual name, but when i made this joke, i didnt, so suck it, cablechewers....god, her voice actor did an amazing job, each time she says battler you can tell shes filled w absolute hatred. i dont have any strong opinions on the devils rn, but out of all of beatrices nfts, i like levi the most, because crying girls with no good points are really moe.anyways, it shows how the old beatrice was very kind , but unlike current beatrice, who can seemingly rewind bodies at will, she could only momentarily stop the fate of the vase beatone broke... hope that isnt forshadowing...

we start off with more focus on eva, including a flashback confirming how patriarchal the uroshiyama household is. eva talks to her past self in between both her dream - male supremacists should die, so right eva - and first off! i am somewhat sure that this is beatrices doing, that she is reanimating her past self in the same way she did w kanon. isnt is suspicious how specifically only shannon, eva and beatrice herself have the family crest actually tattooed on their body?

i am pleasantly surprised with how humanizing umineko is, im glad i didnt watch the anime again - even though evas a larger than life oujosama whose kind of an asshole, it definetely makes sense why she turned out that way in such a suffocating enviroment. hideyoshi seems pretty nice, all things considered, and while he has some eyebrow raising comments, id say compared to the rest of the male members of the family, espically kinzo akio splinter ushiromiya, hes like. well i wouldnt die for him and he seems kind of stupid but i guess that when ur entire family gets wiped in the war via bombing iirc u kind of let alot of things slide. why does george act like that actually two loving parents and hes still a choy sud.

we do get more insight w the type of shit rosa was going thru growing up, as well. if i recall correctly, with the other flashback, the oldest rosa can be is 35, with her having maria in her very early 20s. in the flashback, eva was debating going to college, so it is pretty unfortunate how phrases like - why doesnt rosa just fucking die? - seem to be flying around willynilly. obviously this is her inner conscious and i have a bad internal dialogue too, but i feel a bit bad for rosa.

george kills the mood of every scene he is in im keeping this part short its nice to see battler remincise also beatrice once again shows up to talk to maria and do the trick properly like how her master did with the vase w maria, but with a rose this time! beatrice seemingly was a normal girl, so i wonder if we get anymore on the witch training maria is undergoing. also i really hope george gets thoroughly dissected bcs the shannon george situation is not romantic to me in the slightest it was like genetically engineered to make me mad.

not much to say abt the possibility of the 19th person chapter except that its okay if ronove gives off annoying bishie vibes and also the establishing of both devils proof and hempels raven, as well as the flashback between 1976 n the confirmation of the hidden mansion, with beatrice asking who she is, and ronove confirming for her since shes pissed at battler. also rosa killed beatrice onto next story

with the flashback, i kind of assumed it was eva at first, but this goes back to my talk abt beatrice info! we see her go through a few motions, here, which is a delight. this also goes in with new rosa information - or continuing on with what we already knew, that rosa seemingly has been getting the short end of the stick which caused her to become the lebron of child abuse on her 9yo lolita fashion autistic daughter through inferiority complex, maybe. anyways, the picture that gets painted of the original beatrice, whose 19 iirc - actual beatrice is said to look in her early 20s if i also remember correctly, but still an 1000 yo witch, 19yo beatrice from what i understand is a vessel or homuculus, i forget homoculus is not a meme word, im sorry for laughing when they kept on saying it. anyways, its creepy as fuck what kinzo was doing, jail. its so sad seeing her so happy to finally be free. also i love birdcage girls. i love them so so so much.

the cg w kinzo being burnt.. thank god. i feel very bad for kanon n shannon for being team tagged to their demise by the sibling nfts. fortunately i find beatrices anger at shannon in particular very interesting.

i think once starting this chapter i have realised something. that ryushiki really loves saying - like a puppet thats strings have been cut-, its like a mantra. he has said it, on record, 3 times in the same episode.

oh wow! i kind of assumed she was the same as gohdah and not fellow kinzo furniture, but i was so wrong, so wrong in fact i had repeatedly used profanity i was duped as they said very much so.SHE WAS A WITCH TOO. i guess its kind of cute, in a way, due to her always looking over everybodies sholdiers. i wonder how this counts to them dying, though... im kind of confused, i hope once we find her corpse there is future elaboration .

i cant believe witches did nine eleven. anyways, beatrice - kills - her former master, but not without her coming back to guide her again. obviously not a fakeout bcs it would be insane in halfway through rondo of the witch and reasoning the witch Fucking Dies. also, i forgot to put it here, but gohdah dies via the siblings, her name is virgillia, okay!

up to umineko ch 12! anyways, ch 10 mostly consisted of chewing beatrice out... shes getting more sullen, its kind of cute. this puppy is literally me.

EVA SOLVED THE EPITHET ANMD BECAME THE WITCH. i was a bit off since beato and eva seem to be arguing based on beato feeling pretty cornered. itsa bit funny to see her so worried and crying... killing people in bizarre ways is problematic medias...? But yeah evawitch both worries original eva, whose incredibly sick, and beato... it actually is killing me how disinterested lambdade lta n berkenstel are when eva is crowned. the fact the song which plays when eva gets the ring is called happiness of marionette... also the sister dynamic between her and rosa is really, really tense, its surprising to hear that apparently they trust eachother the most out of the siblings. hideyoshi seems like a good guy.

okay up to ch 15! to summarize! beva - beatrice eva - and eva are two different people, which she makes excessively clear by basically threatening her and saying that while george and hideyoshi are safe the rest will be killed for the rest of the nights. shes evas wish to be a witch as a child as well as her bitterness and stubborness, which explains why she comes up w these childish torture methods. anyways, everyones starving because they didnt get any rest last night on account of rosa and maria being murdered, which occured half a day ago, meaning that everyone is also starving. kyrie and rudolf go, as well as hideyoshi, with guns, of course, because that was helpful to natsushi... jk lul

we are seeing a softer side of beatrice. shes really drilling in the lonely witch side of her, and she does seem to care abt the game w her and battler, with her wondering abt battler eating the cookies ronoe is making... the glutton.ronoe also answered for beatrice when she was out sulking when battler pulled the hypothetical that eva couldve murdered them w hideyoshi as an accomplice. seemingly beva doesnt really get along w beatrice that well due to her telling her to tone the murders down as well as admitting her halloween murders were kind of on a whim and wanting to make sure the murders r more dignified, as well as noting that when all the family is cooped up together like this, their desperation to not believe in witches is at a all time high.

it is also revealed that guns due to their heavy anti magic power are to witches and also are able to wound them! this is batted away by the fact that she summons levi and belphegor.. levi yay! its a bit funny to see rudolf and kyrie talk to them while theyre actively try to kill them. rudolf is kind of a chauvinist, isnt he? i think kyrie is really misguided when shes blaming asumu with the whole i was in a relationship w him before! i dont blame rudolf! because its clear the dude is unfateful... we are getting more about ange though. there was a convo w either rose or natsushi where she refers to daughters, i initially thought i misread it, but is ange a girl? regardless, 18 years of envy killing the literal envy demon aside - both of them die, not by the og demons, but by these adorable rabbit servants!!!!! awww!!!!!!!! awwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!

hideyoshi is also killed, thoughb she seems a bit more regrettful over it, whilre also estabalishing shes different from eva and that the gold belongs to her. beva is really establishing herself as a problem considering how she treats beatrice as well, calling her a hag and the like. anyways, thats where we left off.

ep 16! they find the bodies of the deceased after eva starts screaming for hideyoshi, with only george, jessica, battler, eva, krauss and natsushi alive. george and battler have a big weep abt their feelings, with battler noting down ange again, and how shes 6 years old currently. six years like how long its been here.. im writing down my previous notes, but wow they really up her foreshadowing in the latter parts of the chapter. we get more information on what virgilla considers to be a real witch, and how even an endless witch like beatrice is still a apprentice. being a witch is to make humans happy, too... while the other cousins are cooped up in their rooms, while getting coffee, george mourns shannon, and starts seriously sympathizing w kinzo. beatrice responds to this in an attempt to use her powers for good, and actually brings shannon back to life, likening it to hades and persephone... unfortunately this lasts for all of 30 seconds because Beva is really utilising her catchphrase of - die forever - which is so cruel even beatrice is speechless... she also uses the chiesters to kill krauss and natsushi, all while eva is making coffee. eva is terrified of beva, and links her to both her childish cruelty and greed upon seeing that gold. when the seagulls cry, none shall be left alive.

ch 17! this is long, and unorthodox compared to the other chapters. at this point, jessica is very convinced that eva murdered her parents, with her and eva getting into a huge fight during the whole ordeal, in which jessica ends up blind due to eva shooting her, masterful gambit. this does not bode well for her hysteria, and when shes getting patched up by nanjo, the scene where beva just silently shows up made me giggle, im so sorry nanjo, i have no strong opinions on you other than the fact you hang out w mad predators to see how their mind work, but other than that, its cool you have a sick grandchild i guess. jessica can hear the murder outside, but cannot see it, and beva threatens her while doing so. during this, her mind drifts towards kanon... BEATRICE GREATEST WINGWOMAN OF ALL TIME throws her a bone here, and her and kanon briefly reunite, with kanon guiding her out, with both of them apologizing for thei mutual cowardice. ronoe also allows it when he sees him sneak out while bevas torturing nanjo, sure, why not, with kanon thanking beatrice. anyways, when beva finds out abt this, she loses her shit, however beatrice stands her ground. the chiester sisters repeatedly try sewing her heart, but beatrice continues to live, smiling even when bleeding out, proclaiming she has become a true witch.

im skipping over some stuff but the grand majority of this chapter is attempting to deny the existence of beva by positing that eva was the real killer behind it, with hideyoshi being an accomplice - this is helped by the fact that the cigars in kyries corpse r hideyoshis, which helps explain why she went even though she wasnt peckish at all and thought the whole plan was kinda stupid dumb since she wanted to corner him - all the witches n ronove join in to help u w this, w battler even calling beva an imposter - 2021 was 5 years ago i have to move on - also beatrices sad sprites are so cute shes like a misbehaved doggy... however beva comes around guns blazing with a bunch of red statements abt how it couldnt have been eva, and how there are only 18 humans, with eva being next to battler even while jessica was out which counts as an alibi, also theres a really nice cobweb visual for it. however, this time beatrice steps up w a statement that disproves witches that only witches can say. out of respect, battler covers his ears for what is kind of suicide for her - and with this, we get a scene of eva gunning down battler...

ch 18 continues w beatrice and battler confirming eachothers existance, as well as battler finally going to the golden land. maria is pretty nonchalant w her whole heh told you thing, and even the furniture is here! everyones on equal ground, eledgedly. its surprisng krauss of all people is chill w jessica being in a relationship w kanon. eva and natsushi hug it out, also i saw a card of them in marimite uniform recently. kyrie continues to be w her bum ass husband, even joking when the topic of 'free love' that hed probably elope w the girl battler chose. kyrie man divorces cant be that hard. everyone is having a great time, kinzo even got the stick out his ass to talk to battler to ask him and beatrice to sign the contract for golden land, which battler previously denied. this is all merry and good, with virgillis asking beatrice to proclaim herself to be a good witch. whats that ominous cackling noise. oh my god her sprite looks so funny.

theres a kind of feigned oujosamaness that beatrice puts on here, obviously we dont get a reason why but i do call bullshit. anyways, battler on estrogen punches thru the wall and tells him not to do it, absolutely dodging each attack like a badass from the servants. we dont get any name, but its kind of obvious with the style and reference to mom and dad its ange, which is confirmed in the credits, and is basically the joke for the tea party, and is hammered in more at the unhuman section.

speaking of the tea party, we get another hirugarashi reference for the road! the for - eva joke really got me rolling. we also get that classic beating the shit out of the girl you love part. its great, anyways, lamdadelta granted beatrice this power and despite not picking up the fact its ange she is making is extremely clear to beatrice that shes the one who runs this rodeo, and threatens her w her miserable past. teaparty of the unhuman picks up and gives us more of a backstory behind ange! shes 18, and is from the distant year of...1998. eva is still alive but is sick mentally and physically, and is tabloid fodder to boot. shes become incredibly imbittered and decides to make a child miserable to compensate, sending eva to a private school and depriving her of most luxuries, as well as giving her all her wealth in an act she thinks to be the cruelest of cruel actions. ange is pretty straightforward and they have an obvious mutual dislike of eachother, and ange wishes to see her family again. i forgot if i mentioned this but angie is berkchans apprentice in witchdom, a title ange has already internalized after being labelled as one at school, and shes completely unfazed w the idea of being the next golden witch. when shes ontop of a rooftop, wishing to see her family again, when berkchan shows up and asks her to help, even if its just to revive a single relative, she has no regrets at all. we end it w her doing a flip like we saw in the op. onto ch 4!
